Clunky front end
At 220k miles, I decided to replace engine with a 50k used and rebuild the auto trans. Got car back from trans shop and my front end is no longer quiet. Clunky clunk while driving down the road. Squeaking squeak squeak when applying the brakes. Brakes also make the clunking stop. Also getting a squeak when turning. This is all coming from passenger front wheel. All suspension is new as of four months ago. New axles installed with the rebuilt trans. Brake pads and rotors replaced two months ago. Oh yeah, it's a 1993 Accord lx sedan. What's the deal with the noisy right front?
Might be loose bolts/nuts.
Pull the wheel off and recheck the caliper bolts, BJ bolts, sway bar endlink bolts, radius rod bolts to lower control arm, and the front radius rod nut.
Check the bushings as well. If the control arms were moved around excessively, and the bushings were already old, they may have torn and are noisy now.
