Nitrous build. Do I need valves for 150 shot?
Have a b18 building to throw some nitrous on. Would stock valve on race gas stand up to it? Or do I need to get flat valves from ferrea?
This is more of a heat capacity related question, I suppose.

Flat valves wouldn't help at all in terms of the heat tolerance.
Stainless steel and/or nitride coated valves on the exhaust side of the engine would be a good idea. The stock valves, especially with age, may bend or distort from the heat over repeated use.

Spray allways makes crazy dig racers i like it . Youll just need a good spray strategy to keep the traction there.
you will sure need them after a 150 shot lol. If you did a progressive kit I think stock valves would survive, put I would upgrade valves and pistons before that large of a spray personally

OK. Not too interested in compression bump, just trying to find economical but better than stock. From what I gather the stock valves aren't that much worse than a ferrea flat valve (in terms of heat) but they stand a better chance if catastrophe ensues.
