Default My fun yesterday with an '06 Accord PS pump attachment nut size

I had quite the run around with a repair yesterday I thought I'd share in case anyone needs to know a hardware detail. My search could not turn up any specific information on what I was searching for, on both the internet in at the hardware stores locally. The power steering pulley on my brother-in-laws Accord came loose, losing the attaching nut as well as trashing the splines on the pulley. As it turned out, none of the local Honda dealerships carried the nut to reattach a new pulley (that pulley was readily available at many part stores), and I had to get the car back on the road asap. In case it helps anyone in the rare instance of loosing this attachment nut, it has a very uncommon thread pitch, and impossible to find locally at a hardware store. The nut is a 14mm flange nut with a 1.25 pitch. Ones I find come in the 1.50 to 2.0 pitch once they reach the 14mm size. The only way I found one was to visit a pick-and-pull, and actually grab the same one from an '01 Odyssey. They go on at around 47 ft lbs too. Hope this little info tidbit might help someone else..
