Default Engine swap

I have a '98 CG3 with about 333,000 mi on it and I'm looking at my options to swap motors a buddy of mine has a H-23A blue top now my question is I'm interested in that I was also looking at the h-22 or the F-20B. If I would go with the h-23 I understand that I would have to find a computer to run it to keep a manual because they only came and automatics what would my options be for computer I don't need to keep it OBD2 since I don't have a missions and the place I get it inspected is a family friend but I'm looking for my options and advice as to how to get this swap going I can source in h22 transmission so what else what I need

I've purchased a computer from ebay for a Del Sol that was successful.

Go F20B. I think that would be the better engine. You will need a chipped P28 to run it though-got mine through HA motorsports https://www.hamotorsports.com/. The H23A if I am not mistaken is a more difficult swap not to mention finding an ECU. I considered an H23 but seemed to be more a headache than I wanted. There's a dude on here that has much better advice. Arden I believe. Message him

Yes and that's what I kind of came to the conclusion of because the h-23 never came in a manual I have no one around me that would be able to tune the computer for the engine because I can buy a complete swap but I just want something that's going to be mostly simple why don't mine some wiring and tinkering around with stuff but I don't want to have to struggle to find someone that can actually make it run to my understanding I should be able to get the complete swap and just keep the computer from the F-20B

I don't think the computer from the F20B will work. You will still need a P28 if I am not mistaken. I think if you search H23A build you'll see it's not done as much and find the ECU's even less. But I am no expert in this. Aradin (misspelled name earlier) is far more knowledgeable. He could set you straight on this.

You're probably also going to need injectors too.
