2008 Accord. When trying to get the car to turn over there is a loud buzzing noise coming from under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse box. it sounds like a relay buzzing. The car will not turn over. turn the key off and then try to start and the engine will turn over. Only does it once in a while. Any suggetions. Thanks Pete

 

The buzzing sound is from the starter cut relay. However, usually the issue is due to the contacts in the ignition switch (the electrical switch).

If it due to the ignition switch, replacement of the ignition switch is relatively fast and inexpensive.

 

the electrical igintion switch was replaced about 1 year ago. is there any adjustment with this switch or is there just one postion it can be install in? if it is a relay where is that relay located? thanks
