Icon6 Greetings from Lansing, Mi

Howdy, Y'all! I'm new around here and looking for ideas, suggestions, feedback, etc. I drive a jet black, base model 2018 Honda Civic and have been a full time Honda Owner since March 2018. (Mostly Oldsmobile before that) I'm a Linux Admin by day, and a Scifi/Fantasy writer by night! And, I pray that y'all will treat me gently as I may be killer with a computer, but my car skills are kinda not happening. ^_^;; But, I do good research, hence why I settled on the Honda as my replacement for my 1996 Olds 88 when it finally retired itself. I wanted a car as good as, or better than my Olds, and I can proudly say I haven't been disappointed at all so far with both of my Hondas. If you're wondering how that's possible, I had a 2015 Honda Civic Certified Preowned first, which was unceremoniously redesigned by a 2018 Buick Lacrosse on a bridge one icy evening in a head on collision. >.<

Ironically enough, my Honda came away the better for it and totally destroyed his car so badly he had to be cut out of his. Me, I just turned off the engine, climbed out, and called 911 to get some help, but was otherwise fine, save for a cracked rib. Other than that, the car literally kept running and was ready to pick back up and drive again, save for the fact that the engine was pressed into the firewall. But, it proved to be so hard core that the engine kept running, even after the accident like nothing was wrong. lol. ^_^ So, I went back to the dealer and bought another 3 weeks later. And, my current one that replaced it is a beast. Lots of power, plenty of get up and go, and more fun.

Since you guys are all gonna be much smarter and wiser when it comes to cars, I will rely very heavily on your wisdom and knowledge. So I look forward to sharing with y'all and asking plenty of questions.
