I have a 91 civic dx that I swapped a d16z6 in and auto to manual it runs good until it warms up once it warms up it shuts off while driving. It starts right back up will go then shut off again. It has code 41(o2 )sensor code 9 (tdc ) sensor. Code 15 (ignition ) I have a new dizzy now but it’s still doing it. I checked fuel pump. I checked relay. Any ideas any help would be appreciated

Does it struggle to idle and die? Or does it just turn off?

Have you done anything to further diagnose those codes besides swapping the dizzy?

When the engine warms up, the ECU goes into closed loop - meaning it uses feedback from the sensors to manage the engine.
Fix all the codes you are getting.

There are a couple ground wires on the thermostat housing. make sure those are intact.

41 should be an easy fix as it is just 2 wires.
Switched 12 Volt (ECU A25)
Heater (ECU A6)

Signal (ECU D14)
Sensor Ground (ECU D22)

You may have the A6 and D22 wires backwards.
Some generic wiring shows both of these wires black, but you can't get them mixed up.

I am getting code 9. Checked with a meter has 380 to all sensors In dizzy. Checked wires to Ecu there are good. I can’t figure it out. It was running good then went to leave and now bogs out when I touch the gas.
I have a 91 Honda Civic dx with d16z6 motor and a6 intake manifold. Used 91dx harness for swap p28 Ecu I did the wires myself. Bought a 0bd0to obd1 jumper harness off line. Did 4 wire 02 sensor did everything needed to run now this is the problem. I can’t figure out this code 9. Now the bog. I don’t know for sure if code will cause bog. Any idea or help I would really appreciate.

No more code. No it still bogs out when touch the gas. I push the clutch in and hit the gas it’s fine but once I put it in gear to go it will bog out

Did you reverse the tps wires?
It is part of the DX harness conversion. DX throttle plate rotates the opposite direction than MPFI engines.

Check timing too.

yeah. I have a pr4 Ecu I put it in just to check it and it runs it fine. Runs rich. So I guess my question now is could my p28 be bad. The p28 starts right up it idles normal but if I push the gas it bogs like it’s not getting fuel. It’s like the choke is on after it’s warm.
