The unused bulb position in the USDM 4th gen DIC?

The unused bulb position in the USDM 4th gen DIC?
If you pull the DIC out of a USDM 94-96 Prelude Si or VTEC there is an unused bulb position visible from the foil side of the circuit board.
A visual examination of the board suggests there is both a signal and a ground, but a bulb is not installed, and on the visible side of the DIC the position is blanked off.
I am wondering if anyone knows what input causes a signal to this position?
