I bought a 2007 Honda Civic with a blown motor. I pulled the R18A motor out and installed a JDM R18A motor. I am now having problems with misfire codes on all 4 cylinders. When I installed the JDM motor I had to to take the Vtec solenoid and a few other things off of the dead motor to put them on the JDM motor. I was told that the JDM R18A motor was non-Vtec in Japan so I would have to put my Vtec solenoid on it. I have tried changing plugs twice, coils once but no change. I am pulling my hair out and don't have enough hair to be doing that...lol!
