I want to get a roll of 1/4" line for new rear brake lines, and do the flares with a hand tool myself, to save money. I have not disconnected to look at them yet.
What type of flare would a 6th gen accord have? Is it inverted, double? bubble? etc... Can you get a common cheap kit for doing the flares yourself or is it anything unusual?

It's OK.... I gather they are double flares.
Is it 3/16" brake line? (the O.D. looks like a 1/4" to me)

 

Your car is different from mine, but the brake lines on my 95 were 3/16, double flare/inverted flare (same thing).

 

My 94 is 3/16" double flare. Rent a tool kit from Advance Auto or O'Reillys and practice a little first. Also pick up a tubing bender. I use a basic one from NAPA.

Now I just have to see if my rusted fittings will turn at the proportioning valve and the hoses.
