Dim Headlights, Stock Tranny Ground Location?
I did a little bit of troubleshooting, go me!
Main Problem, Dim Headlights.
What I've done so far:
Upgraded to LED Beamtech Headlights (Stock ones no better)
Restored Headlight Lenses
Swapped Relay with another in fuse box
Issues I've Found:
With the car off and headlights on only seeing 11.5V on the headlights, 12V on the battery
With the car running, 14.2V on the headlights, 14.6V on the battery.
Suspects:
Ground Cables - Replaced most of them. There's one under the fuse box going to the transmission I'm weary of. Anybody have a picture of what this one looks like? It's bolted on a hydraulic line bracket I think? Don't know if that's the stock location.
Also, is there a dedicated headlight ground cable?
Might try to get some contact cleaner for the connectors and see if that helps. They don't look terrible.
Might also try leveling the headlights.
