Civic 94 ex brakes on a 96 civic ej9
Hi im new here i have a 96 civic ej9 i wanted to get bigger brakes and im on a budget so a friend gave me the kunckles and calipers from a 94 civic sedan ex with abs if someone here did it before and can answer some question it will be very helpful.
first: the knuckles will fit in my ej9 with the ej9 control arms ball joints and will be no problem?
second: i want to get new brake lines i need a 96 or a 94 brake lines?
i just cant find answers anywhere..

With that said, there are two issues:
1.) Your original brake master cylinder is intended for the small front calipers and if you don’t swap it out for a larger size (15/16 or 1”) you brake pedal will feel “soft” and require more movement to engage the brakes.
2.) Your stock wheels won’t fit over the larger calipers. You’ll need EX 14” steel wheels (not HX unless you grind the caliper down) or 15” wheels.
Getting stainless braided brake lines will help with pedal feel if you don’t swap in a larger brake master cylinder.

Everything will fit. There isn’t a difference in brake lines.
