Hows it going peeps. Looking for assistance in decoding my VIN #. I been out of the scene for several years. Started bringing back to life a CRX that I have had sitting on my yard for over 10 yrs. I started decoding the VIN JHMED835XKS###### to see what exact model I have. But I came across digit # 9 I have the character "X". Any knowledge on this will help.

That is the check digit. Derived from some math on the rest of the VIN characters.

 

So technically there's no meaning to that character. Thanks for the info.
