Transponder 2000 Integra ls
I want to tune my car with Hondata s300 in a p28 obd1 ecu but the transponder won’t cut the fuel pump on/let me start the car. How do I bypass this? if you know please pm me
if you don't choose one from the Hondata Vault if the specs match close to your setup, Make sure you change the map sensor setting to what ever map sensor you are using! as well as the injector settings! make sure these 2 parameters match the ones you have on your setup.
List your entire engine setup including what Map sensor you are using as well as injector brand and size.
Ok do you have a base map?

I made a base map with the stock map sensor and 350cc injector size/deadtimes but I can’t upload or connect to the ecu, the lightning bolt doesn’t come on, I have the ignition on when trying. The green key on my cluster stays illuminated. Do I need internet to connect?
Do you have S300V3? if so you can use the blue tooth option to connect.
Is there a red light blinking in the ECU board?
yes I have the usb cable that came with the s300 and it is indeed a v3, haven’t tried bluetooth yet. yes there is a red blinking light. I think it might be my laptop it’s cheap, gonna try another one tomorrow. Calling Hondata on Monday to troubleshoot with them. I updated the driver with the ignition on and everything i’m lost at this point

Make sure you have the correct jumper harness. Since you're chassis is 00-01, you need OBD2B to OBD1. With the correct harness, P28 w/S300 V3, I haven't had a single issue with the transponder.
this is the one i’ve purchased / OBD2A to OBD1 ECU Jumper Conversion Harness Adapter for Acura Integra https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JR41VHG..._5su2DbQ7HJ8A1
Also, when you change to the P28, your tachometer won't work since the tach gets it from the ECU in 00-01 Integras. You'll need to run a line from the blue pin on the distributor to the test line over by the driver side shock tower plugs.
That's the incorrect one. You need: OBD2B to OBD1.

Yup, I had to hunt for that information. Then I realized there were 3 different OBD connection types in the DC/DB chassis, depending on the year.
The tachometer was another one I had to figure out. Figured I’d save him the trouble of creating a new thread in a week.
