Hello all, I recently acquired a 94 civic coupe with an 89-91 jdm b16a with a very inconsistent top end tick, only shows up around 2500 rpm & around 4000 rpm. I know top end noise has been covered a million times on all engines but this is very new to me, It doesn’t sound like it’s actually coming from under the valve cover but almost sounds like it’s coming from the intake manifold. I haven’t touched anything yet & I was going to adjust everything next week. But what are the chances the LMA is bad. Just want some opinions on this.
