I have 2 questions here on the EK Civic Brake upgrade, as spelled out by BrakeExpert

1) After having spent many countless hours reading all the brake upgrade options for my EK Civic (1999 LX), I've selected the 17CL15VN ITR calipers and grinded 23T brackets. I also purchased the EX/Si knuckle for cheap from a local junkyard as it seems to open the door to a lot more options. It seems the EX/Si Knuckle enables you to use a larger Prelude VTEC rotor vs a Civic EX rotor if I keep my LX knuckle. How much more significant a performance jump is this? Basically 10.3 vs 11.1" rotor.

2) Along those lines, can someone help me decide which would be the better way to go for a 185 HP NA EK Civic that is only going to be used for street/daily driving? Is it worth going with the bigger Prelude VTEC rotor and putting in the EX/Si knuckle? On some threads I see people wanting to keep the rotational mass down and not go with too heavy a design than needed. I would guess by having the HP of an ITR, going with ITR like brakes would be a safe bet. I have the caliper and bracket, but dont really have to use the EK/Si knuckle (I just got it very cheap and as extra insurance just in case). I'm hoping someone with a similar set up or experience can help provide some insight that will help guide me which way to go.

I should add that I'm using 16" gramlites, so I do need to make sure I'll clear that on the larger rotors.
