92 Accord LX front door speaker questions.
I am looking to replace the door speakers in my 92 Accord LX without needing to seriously modify the doors. From what I was able to find online, they are 6.5" speakers. Has anyone had experience changing these out? Will I need to cut things or drill holes to get aftermarket speakers to fit? What is the depth limit for the speakers? I am currently looking at these cheap
as they will be 10x better than the blown stock speakers that are currently in the car. I already replaced the rear speakers with 6x9s from the same JVC product line and they sound amazing compared to stock. I did swap the speaker enclosures in the rear out with ones from an EX to fit the 6x9s. Keep in mind that these speakers are temporary. I do plan to upgrade the entire audio system in this car at a later date.
If anyone could give any tips, that would be awesome! Thanks.

If they are not oversized or too deep they will most likely fit.
Contact JVC or Crutchfield directly to see if they know if they will fit your application.

Yes, they will fit. There's a decent amount of clearance in those doors. I recently took the door panels off of my 91 accord to see what is in it and come to find out that there are Kicker CS 6.5's in there. Those sound amazing. The only sucky part is, that's one of the brands I'm not a dealer for, lol.
