Hello, I swapped the mirror glass from the Acura EL to my 2000 Civic jdm folding mirrors a while ago. This past weekend someone decided to steal the glass with back base. Does anyone know where I can get an OEM Honda replacement? I cant seem to find a dealer site with acura parts in Canada like hondaautomotiveparts. The mirror from the Acura Integra seems to be the same but I am not sure. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

If it's a CDM Acura part you will have to call the dealership. Even then they like to treat part numbers like some sort of trade secret. I had to practically twist the guys arm to give me the part number of the pulley bracket from the K20 or K24 off a CDM only Acura to be able to verify it's the same bracket as my K20Z3 Si.

If the part is USDM and CDM then you can use acurapartswarehouse.com

Problem lies in the CDM only cars... I've never found an online Canadian Acura parts site like I have Honda torontohondaparts.com

 

I have access to the Canada catalog. I would say the evidence is.... inconclusive. The LH mirror glass for the EL is 76253-S52-H21 where the Integra mirror is 76253-S04-A01. The catch? (possible good news ahead)

All of the parts I see in the fiche that are related to heated EL mirrors carry the S52 code. The rest of the housings all carry the S04 code... So I would venture a guess that the Integra glass will fit right in there, which is what I've always suspected. Good luck.

 

I don't know about the Canadian models with heat but I have experience using the glass from an integra on jdm civic 2 door mirrors . The 2 door version fit , but the four door wouldn't .
