Default D17A2 Spun bearing

My daughter has a 2006 1.7 V-TEC FRV. It had a spun bearing (at the cam belt end) which after cleaning up and checking the big end journal was within spec. We replaced all the shell bearings and ran up the engine and heard the familiar knocking. I removed the the big end cap and the bearing had not spun but was starting to wear and had oil but a lot less than the bearing at the flywheel end. I have blown air from a foot pump and that comes out at the main bearing, but cannot check the oil pump side is there a way of checking the oil ways in the crankshaft. Is there a diagram of the oil flow through the crank and engine? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Dave S

If I remember right, people always say to use a pipe cleaner on on the oil holes in the journals. I personally have not seen the oil pathway being illustrated in the FSM but I somehow could have missed it.
