Transmission PID inquiries into 2000 Honda Accord?
Has anyone successfully setup a ODBII scanner to get transmission PID inquiries for temperature or other things on a 1998-2002 Honda Accord 2.3?
Transmission is still pretty simple, only outputs are shaft speed sensors and the two pressure sensors for 2nd and 3rd gear. No temp or any other data available.
Did you setup the PIDs and extract the data to display on your scanner? What were the values, PSI, voltage?
Did you see my other post (below)? I've been going through many posts related to P0700, P1750 and P1751 and read some of your posts. You seem
to know a bit about transmissions.
It is in the Accord 1990-2002 section.

2000 Honda accord transmission CEL code help
That seems like an internal hydraulic problem with the trans.
There are known issues with the 98-02 trans, if these are not corrected the trans will die again in 30-60K miles depending on engine and driving characteristics.
A shop that 'rebuilt' the trans cannot simply replace clutch packs, there are a few problems with the PRV overshooting and the various shift and accumulator valves sticking inside the valve body that need to be addressed.
If they are not the 'rebuilt' trans will **** the bed again.
Again there really isn't anything to monitor via the scan tools.
You really need to have a multi-pressure gauge setup hooked to the transmission to monitor the various circuit pressures to properly determine where the fault may lay.
The two gear pressure switches are just that, switches. They are simply on/off. If they are leaking or the wire harness to them is damaged they will usually cause a no or very late upshift issue.
This is where the pressure gauges come in handy, you can tap into those circuits and monitor pressures and see if the switches activate or not, or if the circuit has low pressure.
Speed sensors are simple hall effects sensors, verify they are not sludged up, which can cause erratic/late shifts from loss of resolution.
Sonnax has a few articles on the 98-02 transmissions, worth looking into.
