So I currently have a 99 Ej8 coupe with d16y8 sohc vtec motor 5 speed.
i plan to do h22a4 swap. I know it’s been covered a million times and people will tell me I should either go turbo or b series swap but I’m pretty hooked on h22 swap. Now I do live in Cali and I want to do everything legally and correct as far as smog and whatnot is concerned. So my ? Is this, other than mounts, motor, trans, and Ecu, what else is required to do this swap? I do want to keep ac/ps. Also I don’t intend to do the swap myself. 1) I want it done 100% correct 2) I don’t mind supporting local business and having professionals complete the swap. With that being said is it possible to call up a shop and tell them that I want a h22a4 swap and they supply all the parts? Thanks!
