Intake manifold gasket leaking on second try.
In the middle of d16y8 manifold swap on d16y7. It's leaking from the intake -> cylinder head gasket. Sprayed carb cleaner right on it and sure enough. Anyways it is an oem honda gasket, thin bead of red rtv, propper tightening sequence. Idle is at 2k. What's my next step in fixing this?

OEM Honda gasket is a red paper gasket if I remember correctly, you are not supposed to use any kind of RTV on it.
Sounds to me like you have to pull it all off, clean both surfaces completely and try again with a new gasket and no RTV.
