Default CIVICSI1999's B16A2 turbo build

I just finished turboing my !999 Honda Civic SI. I can say honestly it is not easy to do. I did it with basic tools in my garage. I had alot of fun an alot of headache getting it done. First thing ill say is taking it apart is easy but then getting the new parts to fit now thats fun. i bought a mini ram and the turbo sits so low i had to modify my intercooler piping on drivers side to make it fit. I will say i bought quality parts and read alot of people turbo builds and read forums on turbos and kits and talked to a few people before i bought anything. I bought a turbo from STC.because i wanted a quality turbo that would last and also the guys at STC i talked to along with TheShodan on here really helped make my choice on buying a turbo from them.I didnt wanna end up buying twice or buying something just to have it not last very long. Overall it was a great experience and fun to learn. The only thing i didnt do was tune it i payed a tuner to remote tune it an that guy did an amazing job car drives amazing and boosts fast. Well ill finish this off with a few pictures of my build an parts list. I just wanted to post my first honda turbo build. I have always loved honda civics and had a few but never an SI then i came across this one an had to buy it. Hope you like it i used stainless steel braided lines for the vent lines an water lines to the turbo.I will say this the little things like fittings an lines and other things will add up fast.

I personally like the smooth trunk. My EBP EM1 is wingless from the factory.

that may be true, but i think the added stability at high speeds would out weigh the five or so pounds.

Maybe joker, but the drag may slow down the top speed a bit too. Mine never felt sketchy up to about 150 mph... I haven't gone past that yet.

that's always been the double-edged sword to aero.. The very thing they were designed to do will affect the vehicle's top speed, either by weight or drag. They were never meant to make the car go faster, they were meant to make it handle better.

thanks i couldn't believe how clean the car was when i went a looked at it to buy it last year. It didn't have a spoiler and does not look like it came with one from the factory. I personally think no spoiler looks a lot cleaner and a lot better than with one but that is what i think, No all stock internals at this point.
