So the guy who had the car previously replaced the original stereo with an aftermarket. While driving home last night the radio fell into the dash. Thankfully I retrieved it after removing the stereo cubby.
What’s a safe way to reinstall a radio without the metal cage? This one was held in by tape and packing foam!
Seems it’s hard to find a cage that fits the exact dimensions of the one I have.
Go to auto zone or wallmart they sell the radio installation kits you might get lucky and find one for your year or just get one for the next generation and just use the metal cage.
ok, i will try that! say, is it true that if one of the window switches goes out on this model both windows don’t work?
I'm not sure but that wouldn't make sense unless one Window switch controls both windows which im pretty sure doesn't. Try just replacing the broken switch first.
Got to spend some quality time with my new car, she’s such a beaut! Put 274 miles on it today, runs like a top; got more than a few compliments on it at car toys. Hope you’re all having a great Friday!
Helpful Tip: use 4 ott steel wool to clean your windows! It’s amazing, does wonders that windex can’t or soapy water. Make sure it’s the fine steel wool and not the coarse kind 4ott!
