Trying to pull codes from B20 wiring harness but can’t find terminal
Bought a 88 CRX with a B20 engine swap with B20 wiring harness. Car doesn’t turn over but the lights come on, installed new alternator starter and battery yet won’t start. I can push start it and jump it yet won’t start on its own. I’m trying to pull codes but I can’t find the terminal to short. Pls help.
Is it still OBD0? Do you know what ECU is in the car? Most OBD0 ecu's have a window port on the front with a flashing LED on it that you can decode to find the codes
its OBD1, and upon grounding the D1 wire my check engine light doesn’t have a code. It just lights up and stays on when grounded
not sure it would even have codes if you can get it running by push starting it.
Starter issues won't come up in the ECU.
Sounds to me you should be checking all your grounds and then troubleshooting power to the starter.
