Hey. Not so good at introductions; basically here’s what I got on the 20th: 1993 Acura Integra GSR V-TECH.

I don’t know much about cars so...

paid $1700, decent shape. Good deal?

also I need a window master switch, anyone know where I can find one?

but most importantly I need to know what things to look out for in the near future on an Integra GSR with 152k.

I have spare money, what can I replace on it now that I won’t have to worry about later?

It's a rare version of the Integra. Very difficult to find in good condition and should belong to someone mature enough to keep it maintained.

 

O.K. so if it were your car, what would be good maintenance to perform after 152k (besides oil change)? Water pump and timing kit?

The guy before me hadn’t done much besides chrome out some non-performance parts.

 

If it were my car I'd make sure it was locked in a garage. I suggest you clean it up and sell it for a nice profit and buy another car to learn how to repair and modify.

 

Tbh I’m not interested in modifying. But I would like to restore this one.

Which brings me to my next question, so the previous owner was trying to replace the Acura insignias with Honda insignias. Any reason why he’d do that?

Oh? How much does one of these go for in good shape? No worries man. I’m going to do my best to restore it. I mean it needed a steering pump, it needs a working driver belt motor and the master window power switch needs to be replaced (which might actually be the passenger window?).

I heard this year had problems with either window switches going out, when that happens I guess they both don’t work. At least that’s what I’ve been told...
