No CEL but issues?

No CEL but issues?
I just replaced switch A and t-stat, lower hose stays cold, upper gets hot.. pretty confident system is bled, cracked bleeder by t-housing, fingers got wet and no visible leaks else where.. fans still won't come on, only when I jump with paperclip.. paperclip trick doesn't work on thermo switch B(upper hose) is it supposed to?? new new ECT sensor(broke new one; overtightened/extracted from block), sending unit(single wired sensor) and t-switch B en route.. car hasn't left driveway since I bought new battery to start it up cause temp gauge spikes almost immediately.
Anyone got some recommendations? Please help, thanks in advanced!
