I have a 1996 Honda Civic hatchback cx that a friend just bought for me as a gift. I'm fixing it up little by little and I noticed the trunk doesn't have a threaded hole to secure the spare tire. I'm not 100% sure what I should do. I've had a few of my friends look at it as well because they don't believe me but sure enough its not there. any suggestions?

 

Cut one out of a scrapped car and weld it back in?
