My low beam went out on the driver side of my '04 TSX. I tried a new bulb and it didn't work so I decided to actually diagnose it and it was a bad ballast. I replaced the ballast and it worked...for a month or so. Now it doesn't work again and it looks like the new ballast is bad.

My question is this: Can I replace the high beam bulbs with low beam bulbs so I can just drive with those? I don't have a need to have high beams anyway. The high beams are just regular bulbs and not HID like the lows.

 

no, you low beam is an HID, stop buying 'new to me' and buy new. look at theretrofitsource.com for better oem quality parts.
