Default Blinking oil light, low oil level

I have a ‘96 gsr that has recently been tuned to get rid of a spark ping issue. Went on a road trip (~400 miles), got into vtec one time, and once I got back into town the oil light started flashing steadily. Drove it home, parked it, and the dipstick had no oil on it when I checked. No smoke, smell, or leak that I can see without putting it on a lift. Car runs and drives fine with no weird engine noises. Any ideas?

When the oil light comes on it means low oil pressure which means you have literally no oil in it! the good thing is the oil pressure sensor is working! always! always! always!! check the oil in the morning before starting the engine! once you start the engine you wont get a accurate reading on the oil level on the dipstick. The Honda engines all eventually burn oil vtec or not. But if you keep an eye on the oil you should never run into this issue. And your lucky you didn't spin a rod bearing from having no oil! keep it toped off and check it daily!
