I tracked down the owner and bought his fully built boosted gsr hatch that was sitting on the side of the high way for 2 weeks that was broken into for the ECU. the previous owner said he was getting on it and just randomly shut off on him.
He didn't hear any odd noise before or while it happened.
He thinks he lifted the head.
But not quite sure.
What are ways to check if he dropped a valve,
Lifted the head Or threw a rod Or any other internal damage?
I dont see any hole or dents on the block or oil pan but il double check it.
It does have light oil around the block.
I am planning on taking valve cover off to inspect it and check any odds.
Any help is appreciated!
He didnt want the car no more so he gave me a great deal on it.

 

stick a cam down the spark plug hole.
