97 civic hatchback Canada vs US
Thanks in advance!!!
I have a 97 civic hatchback with some rust near the back of the roof. After looking into getting it repaired at a body shop they suggested buying a new roof but they are only available for US models. How much difference can there be? Will the US roof work on the Canada model?
Thanks Again!

The hatch was only made in Canada and Japan.
United States only built coupes and a sedans because the hatch had a different trunk floor pan than the coupes and sedans.
The coupe was only made in North America and exported to Japan in limited numbers as special order. There are exceptions to the coupe rule as they were also made in South America but only for local and not global export. I can not say however if the coupe platform was made right hand drive in America or if the chassis were just sent partially assembled to other global plants
