Default 92 Honda civic no power after mini me swap/build

Okay so I bought this little rust bucket for $300, drove it around for 3 days didnt know it was leaking oil like crazy. Eventualy on the 3rd day the push rod on number 2 had all it could take and split and went threw both sides of my block. Go figure right!! Anyways I drove down to the local pick and pull lucky me they had a deal going on motors and I found a 97 hatch with a d16y7 but missing some stuff off the head. So I was reading on Honda tech about putting my d16z6 head on a d16y7 block followed the write up to the best of my knowledge. Well it runs it starts and drives fairly well until you hit about 3500 rpm then it Boggs out bad I can shift to next gear and it accelerates fine till I get to 3500 rpm then Boggs out... I could really use some help here idk what it could be and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It appears to be going into limp mode. Did you swap sensors over from your old block to the new one? Are you sure your timing is correct?
