Battery light on and burning smell

I have a 2005 Honda Accord EX, last night my battery light went on and I noticed a burning smell. This morning my radio wont turn on and it still smells and battery light is still on. Please help.

sounds like a pulley seized up and the serp. belt is burning on it , could be the alt. , that's generally why a batt. light comes on
