2018 CR-V Low Battery, doesn't start without assist, and barrage of Problem Messages
Suddenly my Honda CR-V 2018 EX-L started presenting the following behavior - it would not start. Pressing the ON button will make mechanical noises in rapid succession, and the car would not start.
Using a portable starter, I was able to start the car, but when I do so, I get the following messages showing up one after another:
Something appears to be draining the battery as well as after charging this repeats.
The only one thing I could see that I might have done "wrong" before all this started happening was -- one night I drove the car up into the drive-way, instead of switching it into Park, as I usually do, I engaged Brake Hold, while I was still in Drive mode.
I believe (I am not certain) that I have attempted to undo the Brake Hold - my memory is not clear on what I did next - but then I just shut off the car, switched it to Park, and went on my way.
I have also noticed that when I shut off the car, the Parking auto-break is applied automatically, when before the car would NOT do this.
What could be wrong and why is this happening?
Can I still drive the car (to a mechanic) or do I need a tow? The car appears to be drivable, but I don't want to risk any mechanical damage by driving it with all of these warnings and problem notifications.

Could just be a bad battery, I would have it load tested to find out.
The reason youre seeing all those “problems” indicated is because in a low voltage situation, all the modules lose their **** and start setting/storing codes.
drive to a mechanic and have them test the battery and charging system. If it charges up and passes a load test then I would suspect a parasitic draw.

I just had a very similar problem with my 2018 CR-V Touring and had the car towed into Honda Service. They diagnosed a bad battery and replaced it. Hopefully it still starts in the morning and all is well. Seems strange to me that a car barely two years old has a battery just fail for no apparent reason.
