1999 Honda Accord crank no start
Hello, I have a 1999 Honda Accord that just had an alternator replacement in July. It wasn’t having any starting issues when the Alternator went out. After alternator was replaced the car drove great for another 2 months. At the beginning of September I had an overheating issue. The car thermostat went out so I replaced the part and tried to start car back. After this thermostat replacement, the car no longer starts. It won’t turn over, the belts don’t move. I have replaced the fuel pump, this didn’t solve the problem. The main relay didn’t solve the problem. I have now replaced the starter and we are still at the same crank no start from the beginning. Is there anything I am overlooking ? Please help, I need this car running asap.
Late reply, but before buying any more parts, you should inspect the work you did. I don't know 6th Generation Accords too well, but there might be a ground wire or two that you had to take off to get the thermostat off. Inspect that area very carefully and look for any loose wires that are supposed to be bolted down to the engine. If a critical ground is not connected, you will get nothing when you turn the key.
