Default Ecm fuse blowing. Need help

So my ecm fuse keeps blowing. I have discovered that with the main relay unplugged the fuse doesn't blow. Where do I go from here?

Is this a USDM car? in USDM a 98 should not have a 1.5 liter motor.

D15B is a JDM motor and then it begs to know which of the 4 D15B's it is.

What ECU is in the car? Do you know how to identify the ECU?

I can look to see exactly which d15b it is. As far as the ecu goes I have no idea how to tell one from the next. I also didn't know the d15b didn't belong in a 98 but that's what's stamped on the block. I'll get the rest the rest of that stamp when I work on the car again and let you know. Thanks.

This thread will help you identify your ECU. Knowing what ECU is in the car is critical to understanding what is happening with the vehicle.

On the D15B front, I was speaking about the D15B, in USDM it's D15B2, D15B7, D15B8 and D15Z1 all of which easily differentiate. In Japan they made just D15B, no end number differentiation for at least 4 different 1.5 liter motors.
