what in the rust is this
hello honda-tech forum,
Im new to the forum but always loved honda's, I picked up a 95 honda del sol with the cancer that is pretty bad. I got the car for $250. lol
But it has rust pretty bad on it. Would this be something to keep and do some repair's myself or part it and look for a clean shell?
I live in wisconsin so its so hard for me to find parts that are close to me. I was almost thinking about flying out to FL and driving back something that is rust free. Just a thought really. What do you guys think.
Thanks again.

That's your call. Rust repair can be quite expensive. However, depending on the chassis code, sometimes the cost is worth it.
I don't think your Del Sol is a holy grail kind of car so most likely just cheaper to find another chassis for the good parts.

yeah this is a such a sad thing to see just rot so bad. The inside of the car is super clean and nothing done to it. One small rip on the drivers seat thats it. Im just going to keep looking around for a clean shell really and start there. If anything ill just drive it tell it pukes and then just haul it to the junk yard. Thanks for the input Tomcat39.
