1994 Honda Accord EX 5 speed axle lengths
I bought a 1994 Accord EX sedan with both torn CV axle boots. I'm looking at ordering new axles, but have found a few different measurements for the compressed axle length, generally varying by manufacturer. Anyone know the OEM axle lengths for my car without me taking my current ones off first? Right now I can still move it around in my driveway, and would like to keep it that way as I know I may be waiting for parts shipping.
The most common results seem to be 24.25 inches for left driver side, and 24.56 inches for the right passenger side, but have seen longer and shorter for both. I've also read similar forums where someone got just barely the wrong length, installed fine, but upon driving, axles start popping out the joint or the transmission, usually the right passenger side since that seems to be a highly disputed measurement with some manufacturers even listing the automatic transmission axle as compatible on that side. But I have also seen lengths vary as little as 0.125 inch and up to 3 inches on that side.
Thanks in advance for all the help. This is my first post here as I have usually found the answer for all my car issues in someone else's thread already, but not this time.
Again it is a US market 1994 Accord EX sedan F22B1 with 5 speed manual transmission and ABS. Just need the correct axle lengths so I can order first, then do the job all at once.

Yes. As stated in my original post, it seemed to vary by manufacturer. I ended up going with Napa. Fit perfect, both sides. Drove thousands of miles since then. Left was 24.25 inches. Right was 24.5625 inches.
