What is the best Blow Off valve for a high HP (1000+) setup?

You can argue the merits & downsides of having A) No BOV, B) Small BOV C) Large or dual BOV. There isn't really consensus.
Your biggest factor is choosing something can handle the pressure of your turbo system - as this is H-T I'm assuming Honda 4 cyl platform and thus 45+ psi.

 

If I remember correctly, I believe AZ is using a Tial 60(?) and pushing over 50psi. **shrug**

The Tial Q 50mm is what I am using, hell I even thought about ditching the BOV LOL.

 

many over the 1200whp mark actually use a wastegate as a BOV because it can. handle much more pressure than 50-70psi depending upon the setup.

but you actually need one because with the amount of pressure you're using AZ, you'll cause horrible reversion to.the turbocharger, shortening its life.

 

Yeah, Locash wasn’t using one on his setup but told me it would shorten the turbos life, he was okay with that, I wasn’t so I kept it.

 

Locash can afford to think like that....

 

Exactly, this is 3500 dollar turbo I don’t want to fix again.
