Shift linkage
I've had a short throw shifter and new poly shifter bushings for the longest time but havent gotten around to putting them into my 2000 civic ex, I tried to today but the shift linkage was so badly rusted and I wasnt able to remove one of the bolts holding it on. I'd like to just buy a new linkage as a replacement but havent been able to find a d-series 6th gen civic linkage anywhere, I found a guy selling one for a 5th gen d-series civic, does anybody know if they're the same linkage or close enough to be compatible for a swap?
I doubt they are the same, just go to the junkyard and find one. Better yet there's a lot you can do with a wire drill attachment and some black paint. Just drill the bold out and replace it and then restore your linkage.
IT'S THE SAME LINKAGE
