Plastic Pieces in the Floorboard and Cruise Control Quits
Founds some plastic pieces in the floorboard (see pic) and Cruise Control quits (activation button lights but when set button on steering wheel is pressed the set light does not light on the dash and cruise control is not set). The plastic pieces on the floor board look exactly like the one i found awhile back when the brake stop one fell apart onto the floorboard. Brake lights work fine and so do all the fuses. Almost positive that the cruise control issue is due to the plastic pieces on the floor but I can't find where it came from. I looked everywhere but no luck. Also checked clutch area and no luck. Would appreciate any suggestion or advise.
Re: Plastic Pieces in the Floorboard and Cruise Control Quits
That plug is the stopper for the cruise disable on the lower part of the clutch pedal. You cannot set the cruise because the system thinks that you have the clutch pedal slightly depressed. The replacement part can be purchased at any Honda/Acura dealership and will only set you back a few dollars.
