Thinking of picking up a 00, but needs work. Not sure if its worth the project
Have a friend selling his 00 black R. Clean title, 3 owners. Was stolen in 2003 for the seats but replaced No accidents. All panels have vin stickers.
140K on it. Has the type r cluster, vents, armrest., door panels.
Body has a lot of door dings, but they can all be PDR. Paint needs a buff, rear emblem was stolen at one point and has touchup from the pry.
Engine and tranny are original vin tagged. AC, PS were removed by one of the previous owners.
I would want to put in AC and PS back, so would have to find those parts. Also the car will not pass CA smog as it has some aftermarket intake and headers and no cat, so i would have to find those also.
Is 14.5 a fair price? I am thinking around another 1k-1.5K to get it up to par.
