Hey there folks,

I have been told that all auto transmissions between 1997 - 2001 for an H22 are interchangeable. I am not 100% sure that we need an new transmission yet, but... I am finding it incredibly difficult to find a used one.

My question is... Are there any other years that can be put in? (even with small mods required)

How difficult is it to rebuild this auto tranny on my own? I have never rebuilt a transmission before, but I have a pretty good attention to detail and have been pulling wrenches for quite some time o my own.
