Hello new Honda owner

Just got a 2003 Civic DX sedan, first Honda. My friend from work sent me here. Looking for tips, tricks, and advice to fix and maintain it.

So my check engine light came on and my oil light flickers at idle. Could you point me to a relevant thread?
