I’m building another turbo set up but this time I’m going to daily drive this thing. What main and rod bearings you guys suggest? Some times I do time attack but nothing crazy. I’ve always just grabbed any brand in the past but since I need it to be reliable now, I’m doing some research. I’m thinking of getting ACL oil pump. Any suggestion? 500hp is the goal if that matters. I do have a heavy foot lol

 

Clevite and call it a day. Oil pump: stock and call that a day too.

 

I use Clevite’s best bearings. Cheap price to pay for a great bearing that works

 

Clevite or OEM..

 

OEM. Mahle/Clevite has "threatened" to make color coded stepped sized bearings like the OE bearings are... and if those are available now, then I would put Clevite on the list as well.

 

King, OEM, ACL, Clevite... As long as they're sized correctly you're golden.

ive run clevite race and acl race in hx size and never had a problem again...

 

ACL standards for me on boosted ls crank in a gsr.

 

I also used ACL standard's and they work fine for me....

 

OEM, or king/acl standard bearings. I love Calico Coatings though. they pretty much saved my *** couple of times. OEM oil pump. nothing else required.
