2014 Accord- auto tensioner pulley assembly replacement
My 2014 Accord EX-L, 4 cylinder with CVT trans, now has 84,000 miles.
For the last week it has been incredibly loud and the sound has me convinced it’s likely time to do the replacement of the auto tensioner pulley assembly and the serpentine belt.
I don’t know if I should just buy what I can from Autozone or buy from the dealership or online. I’ve read that other brands are better than the OEM serpentine belt and I want to make sure I get the best quality parts.
has anyone done this repair? Where did you get your parts?

I purchased my tensioner pulley from O'reilly and I had previously replaced the serpentine belt from Autozone. The belt tensioner I went with was the Gates DriveAlign which came out to $120, you may find OEM parts and good prices at Hondapartsnow.com. Check your water pump as well since you will be removing the tensioner, make sure it spins accordingly.
