2010 Accord v6 VCM problems. Codes P3400 and P3497. Help!
Hey guys. Just bought a used 2010 Accord, and instantly got those two codes. The oil light would also turn on when I would brake or decelerate quickly, which made me think low oil levels.
I got an oil change, and reset the codes. The oil light has permanently stayed off, and for a couple hours the CEL stayed off as well. Eco mode worked perfectly, no problems. But then the light came back on.
So with a little more research, I concluded it must be the Oil Pressure switches. I bought 2 replacement switches and replaced them both. Reset the codes. Eco mode worked perfectly for a few hours and then the light came back on.
I have no idea where to go from here. Anybody have any experience or ideas?
Thanks.
