Default 1/4 Mile Time

Does anyone know what would be the average time in the 1/4 mile for an Auto 99 Lude w/CAI and header?

I'm wanting to know before I take it to the track. Thanks in advance.

if you're planning on going to the Mont. track tomorrow night (which we'll probably be there) then it'll be pretty chilly and not that humid. My guess, right off the top of my head, would be low 15's. I'm going to say shifting it manually and not just sticking it in OD it should do 15.20's and 15.30's if it's in good condition. Of course this is all dependant on launch, and RT's.

in all honesty though, since you're GOING tomorrow night, I don't see why you would bother even asking. Christ, it's 24 hours... can't you wait 24 hours to see what it's going to do?

Oh, I do wanna know if your little friend with the mad skillz 15.20 second SOHC Del Slow with the "JUN" cam that they don't make is going to be there... cause I think we all have a great pool going on whether he can ever come close to those times with anyone other than imaginary people watching. He might win some money if he does... I know I got $20 that says he won't.

Have a pleasent evening. Look for me, I'll be the tall skinny white boy that knows how to disassemble and reassemble your motor in 48 hours.

BTW: if you'd like to know some drag tips, find us while we're at the track, it might knock off a few tenths.

Holy sh!^ People from my home town. Good ol Montgomery. I was down there in July and didn't really see that many imports. I saw one white Honda Civic at Pelham Tire that said he has all these trophies for carshows and I had to leave before I started laughing at him. Next time I'm down I'll have to hit you peeps up.

Actually JG Luder, I am not going to the track tomorrow. If you read the post, I never said I was taking it tomorrow. As far as jdmsol, aka my little friend, is concerned, I don't know if he will be there or not. You would have to ask him.

Nope, I'll be at work. BTW...I highly doubt that anyone will be at the track tomorrow night being that there is a 90 percent chance of rain.

Sincerely,

"Your Little Friend"

Edit: JG Luder...since you are open to giving tips on how to drag race, here is one for you. Good RT's don't mean anything to your ET's. Just thought you would like to know that tidbit of information.

Most auto 5th Gen's run in the 16's. You will be doing very well to get into the 15's.

Obviously, you don't know. You should seriously consider getting out into other forums other than just the prelude section. You might actually pick up on a few things.

Sorry to disappoint you Clint, but go back and read that thread over again. Nowhere on there will you see that I didn't already know that. Like Todd said, that is 101. All I was doing was correcting him. I'm sure he is well aware of his mistake, so why add fuel to the fire?

no dammit, you were saying something to justin about RT not affecting the et, and you didnt know that previously. He corrected you.

You are acting like you have always known about RT when you only found out about it a few weeks back. You are perpetrating like you know what you are talking out.

why the hell do you have to make **** up about EMAILS involving TODD anyway?

Yeah, I said that he had improved tremendously from his first time at the track... including RT . He then jumped the gun and thought I was referring to his RT helped his ET. Not the case, he inproved in all aspects of drag racing. That is all that we were discussing. Wise up, there was nothing to correct in that thread.

I think I know how RT and ET affect eachother. I've sorta been racing since you were in like... Jr. High?

Since the track might not be open tonight, Mike and I will give you $100 if you can stay within a carlength of him. Fassell might jump in on that action, his GSR needs new rings too. In fact, you wanna piece of the Riviera? A little SC boat action for dat ***?

I offered to help the little lady since you don't know a JUN cam from the dick hanging off your neighbors dog.

2)Jr. High, huh? I'm older than you...so how does that work?
3)I'll be at work tonight...as stated above
4)Rain and racing=gay
5)Street racing=
6)My neighbors don't have dogs.
