Default D15B2 with D16Z6 questions

I am currently in the process of purchasing the parts for my 1991 Honda CRX DX build that consist of me using the original D15B2 block and matting it with a D16Z6 head. When it comes to this combo I have several questions that I couldn't seem to find any solid answers on. First question, what timing belt do I use if am using the D16Z6 cam and cam gear? Also what is a good turbo piston and rod to run in this type build? Thanks for any support and clarity anyone can provide.

D15B2 has 134 mm rods, and I don't think there is any off-the-shelf aftermarket support for that, so you'd have to go custom. Your best bet if you want to do a rod/piston engine would be to buy a D16 block and build that instead. What are your power goals? For piston/rod recommendation, I would choose any of the major name brand forged pistons and Eagle rods. Real Street has piston/rod combos for under $900.

I would be happy with a reliable 250whp. I just want a solid build that is reliable that has the potential to be pushed hard if I ever decide to go for more power.

I highly recommend you get a D16 block then and spend the money on a set of forged pistons (9:1 or 10:1) and h-beam rods. If you've got the money, have the block CSS'd, but you'd probably be fine on stock sleeves for your goals.
